Musical Theatre Class Summer Boredom Busters Annual Show 2011. . . Live to Dance! It's that time of year again - tickets are now on sale for our annual showcase, this year being our 11th! The show takes place on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th June 2011, at Lutterworth College, starting at 7.00pm. Tickets cost Ł6.00. There will be licensed bar available and a raffle, proceeds of which go towards our own charity, Jaides Limited. For more details, or to book your show tickets, call 01788 562729 or email sandra@jaides-stage-studios.com An Evening with Anton Du Beke Jaide's Stage Studios sponsored 'An Evening with Anton Du Beke' at the Benn Hall Venue on April 7th 2011 in aid of 'Air Ambulance', and raised a grand sum of Ł4,000.00. The evening began in the VIP lounge sipping cocktails with Anton whilst he mingled with the guests having photos with everyone who attended. Around 20 of Jaide's dancers then performed a spectacular opening number of 'Moulin Rouge', and completed their half hour performance with a gymnastic routine 'Children of the Sandstorm'. The event ended with Anton speaking for an hour and a half captivating the audience with stories of his life with 'Strictly'. He has a fantastic sense of humour and delivered his stories with so much humour, that by the evening everyone's jaws ached with laughter . Not only is he a first class dancer and a brilliant speaker he also has a very impressive singing voice! Before he left, he thanked the audience, and in particular Jaide's Stage Studios for their spectacular performances and for sponsoring the evening, and continued to sign their photos until late into the evening. The premises have undergone a complete refurbishment, are light and airy and located on the first floor (accessed by stairs only from the large reception area). The hall/studio is ideal for meetings, training, interviews, counselling, exercise classes etc. Available from 8am - 5pm. Included is the use of the large ground floor reception area and kitchen for light snacks/refreshments. Tables & Chairs are also available if required. Jaide - pictured with Ed James (100.7 Heart FM), Nigel Reynolds (sponsor from Reynolds & Co) and Rachel New (100.7 Heart FM) - was initially interviewed by a panel of judges and won through to join over 500 guests to celebrate in glittering style, the outstanding achievements of the Midlands Leading Individuals to compete in the ‘Against All Odds’ category of excellence. Jaide, accompanied by work colleagues and friends, won ‘runner up’ in the ‘Against All Odds’ category, based on commitment, determination and who had gone that extra mile to succeed whatever the barriers, which was presented by the Capital’s Heart FM Radio Presenters. Jaide said, “I am over the moon and delighted to be recognised for such a prestigious award. We won the top award for 'Rugby Business of the Year', the most incredible achievement ever! We had a fantastic night to remember for a long time, and our sincere thanks go to all those who supported us with references for our school and for Jaide, which went a long way to meet the criteria the judges were looking for. Stars Earn the Highest Praise Pupils of Jaide's Stage Studios have been praised by the founder of a leading London theatre school. Sylvia Young OBE, who founded her own school in London, was guest of honour at the eighth annual show of Jaide's Stage Studios at Rugby's Benn Hall last week. New Tutor for Musical Theatre Group "Our aim is to teach students from 3 years upwards basic dance steps, progressing to more advanced and technically choreographed routines, increasing confidence and building social relationships. There is no pressure to perform in public, students may do as little or as much as they choose within reason, however - once a commitment is made, regular attendance, as and when required, is an absolute must!"
