Pupils
of Jaide's Stage Studios have been praised by the founder of
a leading London theatre school.
Sylvia
Young OBE, who founded her own school in London, was guest
of honour at the eighth annual show of Jaide's Stage Studios
at Rugby's Benn Hall last week.
Afterwards,
Sylvia, who has trained such people as Billy Piper, Denise
Van Outen, Emma Bunton and Samantha Janus, said: "I've
thoroughly enjoyed my evening I think you've done a
beautiful presentation, some wonderful talent, lovely
routines beautifully dressed, I have to say I admire how
immaculate you look, and to be honest I go to quite a few
shows and I don't think I've seen any show where every
single child has looked perfection and obviously done so
well, their best."
The
show called "Let's Dance" involved around 100
students in a variety of song & dance routines, and a
taster from the Musical Theatre group's production of 'Red
Riding Hood' - their forthcoming show on Friday 18th July.
The
show ended with a surprise performance by the Kombat
Breakers, finalists from TV's 'Britain's Got Talent'. Awards
were then presented by Sylvia Young to dance students for
their efforts during the year.
