Sandra & Jaide appealed to the Courts on the grounds that Rugby Borough Council are 'unreasonable' in their actions.  An appeal was set for Wednesday 13th May at Rugby Magistrates Court.

They assumed, from correspondence received, that support & evidence would be heard to determine whether the Council were justified in issuing a 'noise abatement notice', however, it was only to confirm a date for trial. This has been set for Monday 15th June and is expected to take most of the day.

Both Sandra & Jaide would like to reiterate, that whatever the outcome, the SCHOOL WILL NOT BE CLOSING DOWN (even if they have to relocate again elsewhere).

Discussions are on-going with local media and television to arrange a photo-call/ press briefing to highlight the school's current issues etc., but due to possible implications, which could jeopardise the outcome, and therefore needs to be approached with caution.  A date will be released and shown on this site as soon as possible or interested parties should contact sandra@jaides-stage-studios.com

In the meantime, Jaide's Stage Studios will continue to operate to their revised timetable as efficiently and professionally as always, and all future events will go ahead as planned.
